Fuller Shanghai Trading Company Ltd . is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuller Canada. It is located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Pudong, Shanghai, China and started operations in January 2008.

The company is licensed for import & export of various products including:

Fasteners
Machinery parts
Industrial distribution products

Fuller Shanghai has implemented the same ISO 9001:2008 quality processes and procedures as the parent company and is working toward full certification.

The MIS systems of Fuller Canada and Fuller Shanghai are fully integrated in real-time.

The company specializes in 4 areas.

International Business Support
Products from different vendors in Asia can be consolidated and exported internationally for our customers. This reduces the need for large mill orders and multiple freight charges.

Fuller Shanghai provides export services such as:
- Packaging
- Specialized quality control processes
- Mill quality audits
- Factory inspections
- Logistics support
The sales and support functions for these services are handled directly by our Canadian sales team.
Import Support Services
Many goods are needed in China for North American manufactured products. Fuller Shanghai can import goods into mainland china and assist in your logistical or distribution needs. Business to end users will be handled though our Chinese distribution partners.
Quality Control
The quality control functions previously performed in Canada upon receipt of goods are now performed directly in Asia. Factory audits and visits can be performed very easily as the constraints of time and distance from Canada are removed. A full set of thread gauges, hardness testers and calipers are available to verify product quality. Any non-conforming product is rejected before it leaves Asia.
Export and logistic support for Fuller Canada
While global purchases are controlled from Canada the support team in China assists in tracking, communications and negotiations with vendors. The ability to communicate with suppliers directly in their native language and local time zone represents a distinct advantage.
